Firewood trommel screen, also known as a firewood tumbler or cleaner, is a device used to separate fines (dirt, gravel, wood chips, etc.) from firewood. It works by feeding firewood into a rotating drum with a mesh screen, where smaller particles fall through while larger firewood pieces continue along the drum and are discharged. This process results in cleaner, more valuable firewood for sale.
Firewood trommel screen is widely used for sorting wood chips, wood chips, straw, branches and other raw materials, to ensure the uniform size of fuel particles, to meet the feeding requirements of biomass power plants, boilers or pellet machines (such as wood pellets, straw pellets). Sorting branches, leaves, barks, etc., to facilitate subsequent crushing, composting or energy utilization.
